Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about vehicle modifications and mobility solutions? Find clear answers to common questions about our process, equipment, and how we help you regain your independence.
Vehicle Compatibility & Installation
Can your equipment be installed in my existing car, or do I need a specific type of van or SUV?
Many adaptations fit standard sedans and SUVs, while larger lifts require vans or minivans. We evaluate your specific vehicle’s compatibility before installation.
Will modifying my vehicle for mobility equipment void the manufacturer's warranty?
No. Modifications do not void your overall vehicle warranty.
Can the adaptations be removed if I decide to sell the vehicle later?
Yes. Most systems are non-destructive, allow your car to be restored to factory condition, and can often be transferred to your next compatible vehicle.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
How long does a typical installation take, and do I need to leave my car at your workshop?
Basic installations take 1 to 2 business days, while complex powered lifts typically take 3 to 5 business days.
Wheelchair Lifts & Ramps
What is the weight limit for your wheelchair lifts, and can they support heavy powered wheelchairs?
Our lifts support between 600 lbs and 800 lbs (272–363 kg), easily handling heavy power wheelchairs with the occupant.
How much interior cargo or passenger space will I lose once a life or ramp is installed?
Rear lifts/ramps typically use the cargo area (often replacing third-row seats), while side-entry lifts take up one middle passenger space.
What happens if the vehicle battery dies—is there a manual override to operate the lift or ramp?
Yes. All our lifts and powered ramps feature manual emergency backups so you can always safely load or unload.
Swivel Seats
Does a swivel seat replace the original car sear or use the factory seat on a new base?
It depends on your vehicle; we either mount your original seat onto a turning base or replace it with a specialized low-profile ergonomic seat.
What is the maximum weight capacity for your swivel bases?
The maximum weight capacity ranges from 330 kg to 396 kg, depending on the swivel base model.
Can a swivel seat lower all the way down to wheelchair transfer height outside the vehicle?
Yes. Programmable lowering models exit the vehicle and lower vertically to match standard wheelchair transfer heights.
Stowing Solutions
Will this hoist fit my specific vehicle and mobility device?
In the vast majority of cases, yes. We configure hoist systems for a wide range of vehicles, including hatchbacks, SUVs, MPVs, and vans. Compatibility is determined by matching the dimensions and weight of your mobility device against your vehicle’s cargo aperture and designated mounting points.
How is the hoist powered?
The unit connects directly to your vehicle’s 12V electrical system with dedicated safety fuses, drawing power only when actively operating.
Can the hoist be removed or transferred if I change cars?
Yes. Most systems are non-destructive, allow your car to be restored to factory condition, and can often be transferred to your next compatible vehicle.
Hand Controls & Driving Aids
Can hand controls be installed on any vehicle?
Most modern automatic transmission vehicles can be adapted. During an initial consultation, we inspect your vehicle’s pedal layout, steering column clearance, and knee space to match the right system to your car’s interior.
can other family members still drive the car using the standard foot pedals once hand controls are fitted?
Yes. The original foot pedals remain fully operational for other drivers, and optional pedal guards can prevent accidental foot contact.
Which style of hand controls do you offer (push-pull, push-rock, or electronic triggers)?
We offer mechanical push-pull hand controls.
Safety & Support
Are your products crash-tested and certified to meet national safety standards?
Do you offer in-person assessments?
Yes. We provide car compatibility assessments and mobile product demonstrations (For NCR and nearby Provinces only).
